Mariachi and Mezcal Handshakes CICA’s yearly networking/fundraising event Happens every third week of February. CICA counts with the presence of selected officials, community leaders, business owners and CICA sponsors. We all join in celebration to kick off another successful year, we network and rub shoulders with influential professional, building stronger bonds and connecting with new partners.
In this event CICA presents the CICA Community Advocate Award to Juan Dies founder and president of Sones de Mexico Ensemble. An award given by CICA and it’s community honoring a person who supports, promotes and advocates for our communities. This year we had the honor of having Chicago Mayor Johnson present to show support to the organization and CICA’s mission.
All proceeds raised in this event help fulfill CICA’s mission to provide quality art education to children and young adults.
